Franklin Gun Shop was established in August 2000 by Brian Hassler and his father Jerry. Brian always had a passion for firearms. After graduating from the University of North Carolina and several years working in a gun store, Brian decided to start his own business. His brother Mike, who had assisted at the store on the weekends while attending the University of Tennessee, joined the business after about a year. What started with only 89 guns, has grown into the largest selection of firearms in Tennessee with over 5,200 guns.
