Services

Buy-Sell-Trade or Consignment. We do buy pre-owned guns and may make you an offer depending on the gun's condition, current market demand, our current inventory, and other factors. We engage in many trades as well and can establish a trade value within minutes, but we will always need to see the trade item in person in order to offer the best deal.  Establishing values cannot be done over the phone or via in-store conversation without the gun being present.  We also offer a consignment program for selling your firearms. This program is often the best way to get the most out of your guns without dealing with the risks of selling them yourself and being assured that whoever buys your consignment firearms are legally able to do so.  We charge a 20% consignment fee. Please recognize that once a gun has been consigned to us, a background check must be run by the TBI before you will be able to take it out of consignment.  Your ability to take your consignment firearm, of course, is contingent on approval by the TBI and the payment of the state's $10 fee.

Gunsmithing. Full-service gunsmithing services are available, including accurizing, bluing, stock work, cleaning, all types of repairs, and restoration, as well as scope mounting and boresighting.

Tennessee Handgun Carry Permits. We offer classroom and range instruction to satisfy the state's requirements to apply for your Tennessee Handgun Carry Permit.  The classes are $110.00 per person. Inquire in-store, over the web, or via phone about class schedules and availability.  All instructors are state- and NRA-certified.

Transfers. We do accept the transfer of firearms you have purchased elsewhere, although we encourage you to check with us first to see if we can get the gun for you at the same or near the same price since there are transfer fee and shipping and handling charges. The fee for most pre-owned guns is $50. For new guns, we generally charge $75-$100, depending on the value of the new item being transferred.

Insurance Appraisals. Your homeowner's or tenant-owner's insurance policies have theft limitations on coverage for your firearms. For full coverage protection, you will need to schedule your firearms via an endorsement to your policy. We offer written appraisals for this as well as assisting in replacement values of your firearms should you suffer a loss.
